Free consultation:

Dr. Jialing Liu offers free consultation during the initial visit and will explain to you how acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine work together, specifically for your individual case and health condition.

Before we start the first treatment, you will have a full health examination, which includes your health history, present complaints, and current health condition.

After several visits, in most cases, you will find that you feel better, not only in relation to the main complaints, but also in general health.

Acupuncture:

Traditional acupuncture has been practiced for several thousand years in China. This form of treatment uses a variety of techniques to help re-program the body to a healthier state.

Chinese Herbal Medicine:

Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture are complimentary therapeutic modalities that are often used together in the treatment of a variety of medical conditions.

Chinese herbal medicine is the central therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It can be used to expedite the healing process, and strengthen and support the body. It is a safe, effective and drug-free way to become well and stay healthy, naturally!

Cupping:

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), cupping is a method of applying acupressure by creating a vacuum on the patient's skin. This dispels stagnation (stagnant blood), thereby improving Qi flow. Cupping is used to treat respiratory diseases (common cold, pneumonia, bronchitis, etc.), back pain, neck and shoulder pain, other musculoskeletal conditions and more.

Tui Na or Acupressure:

Tui Na is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine: therapeutic massage. It is more specifically therapeutic than other types of massage. It is a combination of gentle massage, deep massage and manipulation on the acu-points, meridians, joints and muscle groups.

It is very effective for treating muscle pain, soft tissue injury, neck, back and spinal problems.

Acupressure is Tui Na on the acu-points.
